Alluvial stone bed rock & nutrient rich clay top soils combined with plenty of rainfall, due to the proximity of Mount Lofty, provide the hills surrounding Adelaide city with a fertile oasis in which to grow quality fruit.
With time honoured organic principles we cultivate & grow, mindful to be responsible custodians of the land of the Peramangk people, to whom we pay our respects to their elders past & present.

Whilst operating wine bars in Sydney I met winemakers at a seminal time of renaissance for the industry.
The community was vibrant & progressive & I was looking for a different life for my young family.
I allowed myself to consider what it would be like to produce the wines that I enjoyed so much from the region.
Encouraged & supported I worked vintages both in Victoria & South Australia.
In 2020 we moved the family from Sydney & with help from mates started our small business & made our first wine.
All our wines are hand picked, fermented in small batch ferments until dry then basket pressed.
We age our wines in older French oak barrels from select forests for a minimum of a year & often longer.
This is time honoured wine making, nothing is rushed, we are dictated by nature at every step.
